Our CCS Strategy

Pre-Combustion Carbon Capture

During the production of graphite anodes, synthetic graphite, and CNTs, CO₂ is generated from high-temperature treatments. Our facility will employ gasification and chemical absorption methods to capture CO₂ before it is emitted.

Post-Combustion Carbon Capture

Even with optimized production, residual emissions are inevitable. KREEM's facility will incorporate solvent-based CO₂ capture and direct air capture (DAC) technology to extract CO₂ from exhaust gases.

  • Meets regulatory requirements

Storage & Utilization

Rather than merely storing captured CO₂ underground, KREEM will explore utilization pathways to turn it into valuable byproducts, including graphene, carbon nanomaterials, synthetic fuels, and enhanced carbon activation.
